Mr. Robert Burzminski

Principal
I began my journey at Monsignor McCoy in the fall of 2000 as a member of the Math Department, later serving as the Math Team Lead Teacher. For the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of working as Vice-Principal alongside a dedicated and caring staff. In March 2025, I was honored to step into the role of Principal, where I continue to work with our outstanding team to support students in becoming the best versions of themselves.
During my time in administration, I have been fortunate to contribute to many meaningful changes at McCoy, including the building modernization, the Alberta High School Redesign Project, the introduction of multiple academies, and the addition of numerous new programs such as Advanced Placement. These initiatives have positively shaped the learning experience and strengthened our philosophy as a school community.
I believe our mission at Monsignor McCoy is to prepare students spiritually, mentally, academically, and physically for the next stage of their lives beyond high school.
