Nathan Chernik

Hi, I am excited to be joining the McCoy High School community. I’m originally from Cold Lake, Alberta, and moved to Medicine Hat to pursue my Education degree at Medicine Hat College. During my time there, I spent six years playing post-secondary volleyball before transitioning into a coaching role as an assistant coach over the past two years. I've had the opportunity to coach a variety of school sports, including volleyball, baseball, track and field, and basketball. I’m passionate about both teaching and coaching, and I'm committed to helping students develop their skills and reach their full potential. I'm excited for the year ahead and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact within the school and the broader community.
