Patrick Leahy
Social Studies/First Responder Academy
I am a proud alumnus of Monsignor McCoy, graduating in 2010. After high school I played several years of post secondary football for the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver Island Raiders. I completed my post secondary studies at the University of Lethbridge and received two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education.
I started my teaching career in Lethbridge, teaching at St. Paul Elementary and Lethbridge Collegiate Institute before moving back to Medicine Hat with my family in 2024. I will be teaching the First Responder Academy program at McCoy this year, in addition to Social 10-1, Social 20-1, and English 20-2. I also assist with coaching the Monsignor McCoy Colts Football team.
